I received my bachelor's degree in Creative Writing from SUNY New Paltz, and I continue to share my love of writing and English grammar by tutoring students in this area. I can help students who struggle with reading comprehension, literature, grammar and mechanics, phonics, and essay writing and editing. I also enjoy helping students who are writing their college admissions essays. If you have a difficult time with any area of English, I can help you overcome that obstacle. I also help students preparing to take college entrance tests like the SAT and ACT. My goal as a tutor is to help students learn to love their education. I believe I can pass my passion for reading and writing on to the next generation through tutoring. A solid understanding of the written word and strong skills in communication will help students not only throughout their academic careers, but all throughout their lives. When I am not working with my students, I enjoy reading and writing. I also love to visit museums.
